It began in the hostel rooms of IIT Madras — long nights, half-empty coffee mugs, and a burning question: why do we tolerate discomfort when we can engineer comfort? What started as a group of students racing from hostels to labs soon became an obsession with solving one of the most ignored problems in the industrial world — heat stress. We saw factory workers pushing through exhausting temperatures, their productivity and safety quietly melting away in the heat. We knew this wasn’t just a comfort problem — it was a human and economic one.

Armed with prototypes, sensors, and an unreasonable amount of optimism, we stepped out of the campus and into the heart of India’s industries. From the blast furnaces of steel plants to the dusty construction sites, we stood with workers, listened to their struggles, and built cooling wearables that made a real difference on the ground. That journey changed us. We realised that comfort is just the beginning — the true potential lies in supercharging productivity by designing environments and technologies that let people perform at their best. Today, that same spirit drives us forward. What started in hostel corridors has grown into a mission to power entire productivity lines — combining science, data, and human insight to build a future where challenges never limits human potential.
